Wind Beneath Their Wings

What Motivates you? Wakes you up in the middle of the night with ideas, anticipation, excitement? I’ve been asked this question and similar ones over the years. Mostly they just want to know why I seem so happy all the time. Truth is life is sometimes hard. We wait upon the Lord for the things we want, give when we have the capacity to give and love freely without expectation. 

So during those times when I am feeling down is when I let my soul rest. And I wait. Answers usually come pretty quickly. Other times they take forever, months, years even. Does it mean I give up? No. I use the time to lift up others, congratulate them on their successes, show encouragement and love. We really do rise by lifting others.
